Meet Alex
If you’ve ever found finance puzzling, Alex is your guy. He loves solving puzzles, and the complexities of economics drew him to a career in financial services. Virtual trading games were his introduction to banking, but he knows personal finance is no game. He takes seriously the privilege of helping people manage financial plans for the future.
Having earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from Central Michigan University, Alex has since earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) Designation, which demonstrates that he has met the educational standards to carry out a fiduciary standard of care and act in a client’s best interest. He also holds the IRMAA Certified Planner (IRMAACP) certification, signifying in-depth knowledge in helping clients plan for and manage Medicare-related costs. In addition, he has passed the life, health, and accident insurance exams along with the SIE®, Series 63, and 65 exams.
Alex lives in Fenton. When he’s not spending time with his family, Alex enjoys a host of activities on and around the beautiful lakes of Michigan. Come wintertime, he enjoys snow skiing, playing chess and other mind-stretching games. Whatever he’s doing, he shares the fun with his wife, Rachel, his son, Stetson, and his German shorthaired pointer, Opal.
The Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) Designation demonstrates the individual has met educational standards to carry out a fiduciary standard of care and acting in a client’s best interest.
Individuals showing an AIF® or IRMAACP designations as noted above, the individual(s) must meet a combination of education, relevant industry experience and/or professional development. Please refer to the issuing organization for further details and requirements.
