Alex Walther, AIF^®, CIMA^®, IRMAACP^™

If you’ve ever found finance puzzling, Alex is your guy. He loves solving puzzles, and the complexities of economics drew him to a career in financial services. Virtual trading games introduced him to the world of finance, but he knows personal finance is no game. He takes seriously the privilege of helping people plan for their financial futures.

Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from Central Michigan University. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation, demonstrating that he has met the educational standards to uphold a fiduciary standard of care and act in clients’ best interests. Additionally, he holds the IRMAA Certified Planner (IRMAACP™) certification, reflecting his knowledge of helping clients plan for and manage Medicare-related costs. Alex has also earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, an advanced credential focused on investment management and helping clients make informed financial decisions. He has passed the life, health and accident insurance exams, as well as the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE®), Series 63 and Series 65 exams.

Alex lives in Fenton. When he’s not spending time with his family, he enjoys a host of activities on and around Michigan’s beautiful lakes. Come wintertime, he enjoys snow skiing, playing chess and other mind-stretching games. Whatever he’s doing, he shares the fun with his wife, Rachel, their two sons, Stetson and Dean, and their German shorthaired pointer, Opal.
